I was initially really pleased with these for holding two tiny rugs in place on our hardwood floor. They do, however, lose adhesion after a few weeks.
This was utilized in a hallway runner where the corners were perpetually curling to resolve the issue.
In my opinion, these did not perform at all. I was dissatisfied.
Try to move the rug now if you can.
